This is a really fun way to get in touch with your body and the way it can move and actually needs to move to help bring baby down.

You can actually meet Joanna and see a demo of the class when we hold our first Open House in October on  Sunday the 3rd. It will be from 2:30 – 5:pm. We plan on having a great afternoon offering info and sharing ideas. I will do my best to occasionally blog on this page as well.  :)

We had a great birth this weekend….momma having her third baby, first out of the hospital and not “loaded up with lots of drugs” as she put it! SHe did a wonderful job, came in at 1:00 p at 4cm and comfortable. Her beautiful daughter and son and husband all there to offer mom support as they awaited the birth of this new addition to their already wonderful family. About 4pm, momma getting more visibly uncomfortable…..face reddened and breathing harder……well soon she was “pushy” as was described by our newest birth assistant (who is wonderful I might add….an RN from California with lots of birth center experience- Thanks for your help, Rachel)

5:03pm  momma pushed gently out a beautiful little girl-Kamdyn….What a great birth……always helps to reload a midwives batteries!

8:50pm Momma and family on their way home to the comforts of  their own beds!  Doesnt get any better than that………Janet
