A birth center offers a safe, but “low-tech” environment with IV’s, oxygen, medication, and infant resuscitation equipment available in the rare case that these safety items are needed. REUNION BIRTH CENTER is located 3 minutes from Kingwood Medical Center Hospital (a Level III nursery) At REUNION we are fortunate to have privileges at Kingwood Hospital so that in the event you require hospital care the midwives have admitting privileges and can continue caring for you. If your require a cesarean section delivery or medical management outside the scope of midwifery care, our collaborating physicians are available to us 24/7.
